Q. What is the VendiStore Free Kiosk Program?

A. The VendiStore free kiosk program is a program that matches kiosk owners with salon owners. Since the advent of vending machines, people around the world make their living buy purchasing vending equipment and placing them in public places. The vending operator charges for providing a product or service that consumers have a demand for. Beauty is something that is always in-demand. With the advancement of hairstyle imaging technology it is now possible to meet the demand in a self-service digital imaging vending system (kiosk).

Q. Why would someone want to give a salon a free kiosk, what’s the catch?

A. There is no catch. People are willing to give a salon a free kiosk because they have an opportunity to vend a service that is always in demand. People always want to look their best and wonder frequently what they would look like with some changes in their style. On top of the vending aspect, people are interested in putting kiosks in salons because salons are one of a few public locations that consumers frequent multiple times a year and tend to have idle waiting time. This creates an environment conducive to vending a time based service and selling advertisements.

Q. What will the VendiStore kiosk do for me?

A. The goal of VendiStyle is to provide salon owners a better way top promote their services inside the salon, sell more products and upgrade services, and increase overall customer satisfaction. VendiStyle not only lets customers look at themselves in different hairstyles and hair colors, but also provides them detailed descriptions of what is required for the style to work. So as the customer selects a style, the system prompts the customer to purchase the necessary products to make the style work. This increases impulse buys within the store.

Q. I am not technical; will the program still work for me?

A. VendiStyle has captured the best in hair style imaging technology and packaged it into a self-service kiosk program. VendiStyle does not require the salon owner or stylists to know anything about kiosks or imaging technology. VendiStyle does the consultation work for you, which allows you to focus on providing value to your customers.

Q. How do I know the program will work?

A. VendiStyle was developed collaboratively between an award winning self-service technology company (WebRaiser Technologies, Inc.) and a digital imaging technology company (TheHairStyler.com) that is owned by salon owners. WebRaiser has been building self-service kiosks and vending equipment since 1997 and the HairStyler is already working in over 300 salons in 25 countries and services more than 200,000 online customers today.

Q. How is this digital imaging technology different than others?

A. Digital imaging technology has been around for some time now, but it has been slow in its adoption at the salon level because it has required salon owners and stylists to purchase expensive equipment and provide time consuming consultation services. Many salon owners profess to be non-technical and have not wanted to provide a service that required them to use technology to deliver the service. VendiStyle has removed the technology barriers, the need for salon owners to purchase or maintain the equipment and has a dedicated team that is adding new hairstyles to the system monthly.

Q. How Do I Qualify For A Free Kiosk?

A. To qualify for a Free Kiosk you must follow this process:

1. You complete the Free Kiosk Application Form (1 form per salon if multiple salons are owned)
2. WebRaiser enters the application into a database
3. The database is then made available to resellers, distributors, investors and purchasers (“kiosk owner” hereinafter) of the VendiStyle kiosks
4. The distributors will qualify your location and assist in matching your location with potential kiosk owners
5. If your salon is selected the kiosk owner will contact you and submit an offer to place the kiosk.
6. The kiosk owner will negotiate
7. If you agree to the terms of the offer and location agreement the kiosk owner/operator will make arrangements with you to place the kiosk
8. If you disagree with the terms or the reseller/owner operator decides to pull out of the program, your salon(s) will remain in the database as a candidate for a free kiosk

Q. Do all salons qualify for a Free Kiosk?

A. The qualification process is subject to the desire of the kiosk owner. Not all salons will meet the kiosk owners’ qualifications.

Q. How do I increase my chances of receiving a Free kiosk?

A. The first step is to provide accurate information about your salon. Kiosk owners tend to be interested in finding locations that generate consistent foot traffic and predictable consumer buying patterns. Other factors that are looked at are how easy the salon owner is is to work with and how well the salon participates in promoting the services.

Q. Can I receive more than one Free kiosk?

A. Some salons are large enough and do enough volume to justify more than one kiosk. The ultimate decision on how many a kiosk owner will provide to a single salon for Free is up to the kiosk owner and should be something you discuss with the owner during the initial conversation between you and the kiosk owner.

Q. By completing the application am I obligated to receive a Free kiosk?

A. No. You are only obligated to receive a Free kiosk once a kiosk owner has contacted you and you agree to receiving and sign a location placement contract with the kiosk owner. The application merely tells the kiosk owners that you are interested in the program and would like to have owners consider your salon for a Free kiosk.

Q. Can I cancel out of this program?

A. You can ask to have your application removed from the database at anytime. Once you are in contract with a kiosk owner, it is between you and the kiosk owner to work through a cancellation policy.

Q. Are there any hidden costs?

A. Each kiosk owner will have its own location placement agreement. Some location agreements cover everything and others may require you to provide certain things. It’s important for you to read through the contract closely and ask the kiosk owner to disclose of any and all costs that you may incur by participating in this program.

Q. Can I purchase a machine to operate for myself?

A. Yes, WebRaiser Technologies, Inc. and it’s participating partners at their discretion reserve the right to sell equipment directly to salon owners.
